Responsibilities:

  • Greeting and Welcoming: Greet incoming and outgoing tenants, ensuring a warm and secure environment for all.
  • Surveillance and Monitoring: Monitor CCTV cameras to ensure the safety and security of the premises and its surroundings.
  • Access Control: Ensure proper access control guidelines are followed by guests and vendors, maintaining the integrity of the building and its occupants.
  • Reporting and Documentation: Provide incident reports and other necessary documentation to building management and Security USA, ensuring accurate and timely communication.
  • Security and Assistance: Secure the premises and provide security assistance when necessary, responding promptly to any security concerns.
  • Patrol and Inspection: Patrol community shared areas in the building, conducting regular inspections to maintain a secure and safe environment.

Qualifications:

  • Security Requirements: Valid NY State Security Guard License, Valid NY State F02, DHS 40 Hour Shelter Training Certificate, and 2 years of experience (preferred but not required).
  • Physical and Mental Demands: Be physically capable of climbing stairs and patrolling, and possess a positive and customer-oriented attitude.
  • Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to write reports effectively, are essential.
  • Technical Requirements: Basic computer and smartphone proficiency are required, with prior military or law enforcement experience being a bonus.
