Key Responsibilities- Patient Advocacy: Serve as a patient advocate, providing support and guidance to patients and their families in navigating the healthcare system.
- Risk Management: Identify and mitigate potential risks to patients, staff, and the organization, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and promoting a culture of safety.
- Communication: Develop and maintain effective communication with patients, families, staff, and leadership to ensure seamless coordination of care and resolution of issues.
- Incident Reporting: Investigate and document incidents, providing recommendations for process improvements and risk mitigation strategies.
- Education and Training: Provide education and training to staff on risk management, patient advocacy, and customer service best practices.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in a health-related field or business.
- Experience: 1-3 years of experience in patient relations, advocacy, ombudsman, case management, or social work in a healthcare setting.
- Skills: Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
