Cleveland Clinic's Hillcrest Hospital is a leading healthcare organization that values its caregivers. As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) on our 5th Floor General Medicine/Geriatric Medicine Unit, you will work with a team of experienced caregivers to provide medical, neurological, and telemetry care for adult and geriatric patients.

**Clinical Specialties:**

Our unit specializes in cardiac/post-catheterization, genitourinary, thoracic, vascular, renal, gastrointestinal, diabetes, respiratory disease, ostomy, and wound management.

**Responsibilities:**

As an LPN on our team, you will collect, document, and report patient data and care plans as directed by an RN. You will also administer medications and/or treatments authorized by a provider and observe patients for adverse reactions.

**Requirements:**

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a graduate degree from an accredited practical or vocational nursing program, a current Ohio license as a Licensed Practical Nurse, and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA).

**Preferred Qualifications:**

One year of patient care experience is preferred.

**Physical Requirements:**

This role requires full body motion to move and lift patients, manual finger dexterity with good eye-hand coordination, and extensive standing and walking. You will also need to have corrected vision and hearing to normal range.

**Personal Protective Equipment:**

You will follow standard precautions using personal protective equipment as required.
