Job Description:

LPN, Correctional Medicine

Work Responsibilities:
As a Correctional Medicine LPN, you will be responsible for passing medication to approximately 1700 patients at the Cuyahoga County Jail in Downtown Cleveland. Your duties will include ensuring the safe and effective administration of medications, maintaining accurate records, and collaborating with the healthcare team to provide high-quality patient care.

Mandatory qualifications:
One year minimum experience as an LPN is required. You will need to have access to Epic, a healthcare software system, and hold an active Ohio LPN license and Basic Life Support certification from the American Heart Association.

Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in corrections and behavioral health is preferred, as well as proficiency in Epic. You will be required to work in a correctional healthcare setting, where you will need to walk and stand for long periods of time and be able to lift/push up to 50 pounds.

Work Environment / Physical Requirements:
As a Correctional Medicine LPN, you will work in a fast-paced correctional healthcare setting, where you will be required to prioritize tasks, manage multiple responsibilities, and maintain a high level of professionalism. You will be required to work days, 6:45am-7:15pm, with every other weekend and holiday required. No exceptions. Full-time (36 hours/week) 12 hr. days 6:45am-7:15 pm and every other weekend. No exceptions. Full-time (36 hours/week) 12 hr. Nights 6:45pm-7:15pm and every other weekend. No exceptions.
