Fitter/Fabricator - Precision Metalworker

We are seeking a skilled Fitter/Fabricator to join our team at Integrated Machinery Solutions. As a key member of our fabrication department, you will be responsible for fabricating small structures from drawings using basic layout tools and standard fabrication tools.

• Master Fabrication: Utilize your expertise to fabricate small structures from drawings with minimal supervision.
• Blueprint Reading: Read blueprints with GIT tolerances and AWS weld symbols, demonstrating your precision and attention to detail.
• Equipment Operation: Operate overhead cranes, forklifts, and various drill presses with finesse, ensuring optimal efficiency.
• Welding Expertise: Apply your comprehensive understanding of AWS requirements for weld sizes, multiple passes, pre-heating, inner pass temperatures, and full penetration welds.
• Metalwork Artistry: Utilize oxy fuel torches to skillfully burn structural members up to 1" thick, showcasing your artistry in metalwork.
• Tool Maintenance: Come equipped with your own arsenal of welding essentials, from hood to hammer, ensuring you're always ready for action.
• Safety Protocols: Follow all company safety rules and procedures, ensuring a secure and productive work environment.
• Physical Demands: Safely lift up to 45 pounds, demonstrating your physical capability.

• Experience: Possess a minimum of 5 years of experience or hold an Associates Degree in welding.
