Key Responsibilities:

  • Expert Fabrication: Leverage your skills to construct small structures from technical drawings using standard fabrication tools and basic layout equipment, all while working with minimal oversight.
  • Blueprint Interpretation: Demonstrate your ability to read and interpret blueprints with GIT tolerances and AWS welding symbols, showcasing your precision and meticulousness.
  • Equipment Operation: Skillfully operate overhead cranes, forklifts, and various drill presses to ensure maximum productivity.
  • AWS Compliance: Utilize your extensive knowledge of AWS standards for weld sizes, multiple passes, pre-heating, inner pass temperatures, and achieving full penetration welds.
  • Metalworking Skills: Use oxy-fuel torches to expertly cut structural members up to 1 inch thick, highlighting your craftsmanship in metal fabrication.
  • Tool Proficiency: Bring your own essential welding tools, from hoods to hammers, ensuring you are prepared for any task.
  • Safety Practices: Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to maintain a secure and efficient work environment.
  • Physical Capability: Safely lift weights up to 45 pounds, demonstrating your physical strength.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: A minimum of 5 years in the field or an Associate's Degree in welding is required.
