Salary: The estimated salary for this position is $64,500 - $79,300 per year, based on the Certified Salary Schedule 16 Level 1, 2, 3, or 4.


Job Description:


An Early Childhood Education Specialist is responsible for providing high-quality education to pre-kindergarten students in a classroom setting. This role requires strong leadership and communication skills, as well as the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and parents to ensure student success.


Responsibilities:



  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that meet the needs of diverse learners
  • Provide guidance and support to assistant teachers and other program staff
  • Ensure compliance with program requirements and maintain accurate records
  • Build positive relationships with families and encourage their involvement in their child's education
  • Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices in early childhood education

Requirements:



  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
  • Valid Alabama teaching certificate in the grade level, subject area(s) assigned
  • Proficiency in oral and written communication skills; Effective interpersonal skills for the purpose of maximizing student achievement
