We are seeking a dedicated and passionate teacher to join our team at Kiddie Academy of Birmingham. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is committed to providing high-quality early childhood education and creating a nurturing environment for children to thrive.

About the Role:

  • This position involves working with children aged 3 years old, planning and implementing engaging lesson plans, and maintaining a safe and clean classroom environment.
  • The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to build strong relationships with parents and colleagues, and possess a positive attitude towards learning.
  • We are looking for someone who is highly organized, able to multitask, and has a keen eye for detail.

Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement lesson plans that cater to the diverse needs and abilities of children.
  2. Maintain accurate records of children's progress, attendance, and any incidents that may arise.
  3. Collaborate with colleagues to plan and deliver activities that promote social, emotional, and cognitive development.
  4. Communicate effectively with parents through regular updates, newsletters, and parent-teacher conferences.
  5. Ensure the classroom environment is well-maintained, clean, and safe for children at all times.

Requirements:

  • Classroom teaching experience in an accredited early childhood facility is desirable.
  • The successful candidate will have a pleasant demeanor, be highly professional, and dependable.
  • Ability to lift no less than 40 pounds on a consistent basis throughout the workday is essential.
