About the Role

The Project Manager will provide consulting services to our defense manufacturing client account to help achieve the company's strategic business objectives.

This role is part of the Project Management function responsible for the management of manufacturing facility projects from initiation through completion.

This is a remote role that requires a frequent onsite presence for construction projects in various locations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage all areas of project management for industrial commercial real estate projects, including planning, design, construction, occupancy, and closeout.
  • Work directly with clients to prepare all elements of the project, including the scope of work, project delivery resource requirements, cost estimates & budget, work plan schedule & landmarks, quality control, and risk identification.
  • Implement project documentation governance that is aligned with company and client requirements.
  • Ensure project data integrity and documentation is accurate, timely, and coordinated.
  • Support the project delivery team by providing mentorship and direction to achieve goals.
  • Build action plans to meet objectives, budget, and schedule. Track the progress of each project and report status and variances.
  • Demonstrate ability to identify project risks and develop risk mitigation and contingency plans. Implement plans to reduce or eliminate project risks.

Requirements:

  • Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future.
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred with 5-8 years of relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered. LEED AP, PMP, and/or CCM designation(s) preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and MS Project, Smartsheet.
  • Working knowledge of local, state, and federal environmental laws, regulations, and permitting.
  • Ability to exercise judgment based on the analysis of multiple sources of information.
  • Willingness to take a new perspective on existing solutions. Organizational skills with an advanced inquisitive approach.
  • Advanced math skills with ability to calculate mildly complex figures such as percentages, fractions, and other financial-related calculations.
