Job Description

We are looking for a highly skilled and versatile Field Service Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electro-mechanical maintenance and repair, as well as excellent problem-solving and customer service skills.

The successful candidate will travel frequently to both domestic and international client sites to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain equipment. This role requires the ability to work independently and collaboratively with sales and engineering teams to deliver exceptional customer service and support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform minor and major field repairs, preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and equipment installations
  • Create and maintain relationships with customers by providing professional and efficient on-site service
  • Document service activities and train customers on machinery operation, maintenance, and safety
  • Collaborate with sales and engineering to deliver customer feedback, suggest machinery improvements, and address technical inquiries
  • Leverage technical expertise to provide remote technical support and troubleshooting

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in equipment maintenance and repair
  • A strong electro-mechanical background or life sciences/pharmaceutical background
  • An engineering degree (or related field) is a plus
  • Excellent problem-solving skills to resolve technical issues
  • Strong customer service skills to create lasting client relationships
