Host Healthcare is seeking a skilled Catheterization Laboratory Technologist to join our team for a travel assignment in Pennsylvania.
Job Summary:
We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Cath Lab Tech to work in a dynamic healthcare environment. As a Catheterization Laboratory Technologist, you will be responsible for assisting in the performance of diagnostic and interventional procedures, maintaining equipment, and ensuring a safe and efficient work environment.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the performance of diagnostic and interventional procedures, including coronary and peripheral angiography, and electrophysiology studies
- Maintain and troubleshoot equipment, including angiographic and fluoroscopic systems
- Ensure a safe and efficient work environment, adhering to hospital policies and procedures
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to provide high-quality patient care
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and maintain accurate records
Requirements:
- Current certification as a Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) or Registered Radiologic Technologist (RRT) with a specialty in cardiovascular invasive procedures
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a Cath Lab setting
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations
