Host Healthcare is seeking a skilled Catheterization Laboratory Technologist to join our team for a travel assignment in a dynamic healthcare setting. As a Cath Lab Tech, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our healthcare team.
Job Responsibilities
- Assist in the performance of diagnostic and interventional procedures in the catheterization laboratory
- Operate and maintain complex medical equipment, including fluoroscopy and ultrasound machines
- Prepare and position patients for procedures, ensuring their safety and comfort
- Monitor patients' vital signs and respond to any changes or complications during procedures
- Collaborate with radiologists, cardiologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care
Requirements
- Current certification as a Cardiovascular Technologist or Radiologic Technologist
- Experience working in a catheterization laboratory or similar healthcare setting
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive patient information
