Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Model Based Systems Engineer to join our team at BAE Systems USA. As a key member of our Model Based Engineering Capability Group, you will be responsible for promoting Agile-MBSE practices, providing technical assistance to programs, and developing MBSE training materials.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain MBSE models using SysML, UML, and UAF
  • Provide technical guidance to programs on MBSE best practices and processes
  • Collaborate with project design and development teams to ensure effective implementation of MBSE
  • Contribute to the development of MBSE training materials and company best practices

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Systems Engineering or related field
  • 2+ years of experience in MBSE methodologies, best practices, and tools
  • 6+ years of experience as a Systems Engineering practitioner
  • Comprehensive understanding of UML and/or SysML
  • Extensive knowledge of MagicDraw and associated Cameo plug-ins

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Space payload design and I&T experience
  • Experience in Agile software development methodologies and task management tools
  • Knowledge of Government Reference Architectures (GRAs)
