Job Description:

We are seeking a Senior Commercial Insurance Account Manager to join our team. As a key member of our insurance division, you will be responsible for working with primarily commercial lines, accurately inputting policy updates and account information, communicating with clients, producers, and carrier underwriters, and marketing/quoting new business and account renewals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement effective account management strategies to drive growth and retention
  • Build strong relationships with clients, producers, and carrier underwriters to deliver exceptional customer service
  • Manage and maintain accurate policy and account information
  • Identify and capitalize on opportunities for upselling and cross-selling
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless delivery of services

Required Skills and Qualifications:

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A Property & Casualty Insurance license
  • Minimum 1-3 years of experience in independent agency or retail broker settings
  • Strong technical knowledge of commercial lines coverage and rating
  • Experience working with various carriers and their underwriters
  • Familiarity with online rating software and insurance carrier systems
