Job Description

Syms Strategic Group, LLC (SSG) is seeking a highly skilled Automated Test Engineer to join our team in support of a large Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) nationwide program.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement test automation strategies to ensure high-quality software delivery.
  • Develop and execute automated tests using Selenium and other tools.
  • Collaborate with engineering and QA teams to improve the development pipeline.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to identify and prioritize test automation needs.
  • Develop and maintain test automation frameworks and tools.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software/Systems Engineering, or equivalent technical degree.
  • 8+ years of experience in automated software development and testing.
  • Proficiency in Java, C#, or Python programming languages.
  • Experience with Selenium and other automation tools.
  • Strong understanding of software development life cycles and testing methodologies.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with EDI and financial transaction systems.
  • Experience testing MUMPS, VistA, and other VA systems.

Security Clearance Requirements:

Must possess or qualify for a Public Trust (MBI) security clearance.
