Position Overview

Volitiion IIT, a prominent technology services firm, is currently seeking a Finance Operations Manager to join our dedicated Finance and Accounting Team. This role is essential for ensuring the precision of our financial reporting and enhancing operational efficiencies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage daily financial operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and payroll functions.
  • Oversee the month-end closing process and the preparation of financial statements, ensuring thorough review of journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Maintain and enhance financial reporting systems to support accurate data analysis.
  • Develop and document processes and controls to uphold the integrity of financial information.
  • Collaborate with the company controller to ensure adherence to all relevant tax regulations.
  • Provide support across various departments to optimize processes and drive efficiency.
  • Work closely with Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) to conduct ad-hoc financial and operational assessments as required.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • CPA certification is advantageous.
  • A minimum of 5 years of relevant accounting experience.
  • In-depth knowledge of GAAP is essential.
  • Proven track record in process improvement and documentation.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel are required.
  • Experience with QuickBooks is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across teams.
  • Capability to manage multiple projects effectively in a dynamic environment.
  • Eligibility to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government-issued security clearance.
  • Willingness to work full-time in our office.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with federal government contractors or technology firms.
  • Background in public accounting is beneficial.
