Job Summary

Cirrus Design Corporation is seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Inspector II to join our team. This role is responsible for ensuring the quality and integrity of our products, adhering to regulatory requirements and company standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inspect and interpret drawings, procedures, and process specifications to ensure compliance with manufacturing processes.
  • Communicate findings to the appropriate department for corrective action, ensuring timely resolution of quality issues.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive knowledge of the quality assurance manual and processes/procedures within the organization.
  • Verify that products/articles/services meet drawing, specification, and customer requirements, ensuring accuracy and completion of all paperwork and planning.
  • Analyze finished aircraft assembly bonds, parts, or components to determine acceptance or rejection based on drawings, specs, and procedures.
  • Identify design and process improvement opportunities and communicate them to area leadership, promoting a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Maintain a clean, orderly, and presentable work environment, adhering to 6s principles and wearing proper protective equipment during job functions.
  • Comply with all paperwork, such as work instructions, that govern job duties, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements and company standards.
  • Demonstrate leadership qualities when working with manufacturing technicians, promoting a collaborative and supportive work environment.
  • Effective communication in both oral and written language is essential for success in this role.
  • Ability to apply written processes/procedures to products/articles for inspection, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Flexibility with job functions and the ability to multi-task are critical for success in this role.
Requirements
  • 2+ years of experience working within a regulated quality system.
  • A&P License is preferred, but not required.
  • Welding certificate and NDI certification are also preferred.
