Primary Responsibilities:- Implement lessons learned from issues reported on the shop floor.
- Use investigative techniques and perform root cause analysis to address complex problems and deploy corrective actions.
- Develop and deploy quality-related training programs and educate employees on company and ISO 9001 requirements.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
- Coordinate and perform internal audits.
- Monitor and report on quality control key performance indicators and corrective actions.
- Interface with Engineering, Service, Process, and Production departments to optimize processes and reduce costs.
- Promote the QMS and safety initiatives.
- Responsible for end-to-end technical customer complaints.
- Manage the Quality Index System - QIS.
- Manage incoming inspection and final test control plans in SAP.
- Manage the QM module in SAP.
- Evaluate component deviations from the quality standpoint.
- Engineering degree or equivalent work experience.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Knowledge of ISO 9001 standard required. Knowledge of ISO 19011 preferred.
- Root cause analysis and other investigative techniques, including statistics required.
- Experience with SAP environment required.
- Knowledge of Automation products required. Knowledge of WEG Automation products and UL requirements a plus.
- Knowledge of Portuguese and/or Spanish a plus.
- Knowledge of relevant requirements and industry standards.
