About the Role
">- We are seeking an experienced Senior Director of Human Resources to lead our HR department at Child Trends.
Job Description
">- The Senior Director of Human Resources will serve as a key member of the leadership team, overseeing the HR function and ensuring compliance with government contractor regulations.
- This role will focus on developing and implementing HR initiatives that align with organizational goals, including strategic planning, talent management, and employee engagement.
- You will establish a best-in-class workplace culture, foster a collaborative and high-performing environment, and ensure effective communication among teams.
Responsibilities
">- Develop and implement a comprehensive human capital strategy, forecasting human capital needs and working with leadership on strategic hiring.
- Set the vision for initiatives to attract, develop, and retain a diverse and talented workforce, partnering with the DEI Director to develop and implement the DEI plan.
- Supervise the HR team, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment, and oversee the implementation of HR programs, policies, and procedures.
- Determine HR workforce needs and provide direction, mentorship, and support to staff to meet evolving organization needs.
About You
">- You have a minimum of 10 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 4 years in a senior leadership role.
- You hold a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, and an advanced HR certification (e.g., SHRM-SCP, SPHR) is strongly preferred.
- You possess strong knowledge of federal, state, and local labor laws and regulations, including government contractor compliance.

">We offer a competitive salary of $125,000 - $155,000 per year, based on experience.
