About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Speech Language Pathologist to join our interdisciplinary team at UW Health Rehabilitation Hospital. As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will play a vital role in helping patients recover from a wide range of medical conditions, including stroke, brain injury, and spinal cord injury.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to identify communication and swallowing disorders
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address patient goals and needs
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination
  • Participate in performance improvement activities to enhance patient outcomes and quality of care
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of departmental policies and procedures
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or a related field
  • Current licensure in the state of Wisconsin
  • ASHA certification or eligibility
  • Basic Life Support/CPR certification
