Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Care Coordinator to join our team. As a Care Coordinator, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our healthcare services.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate Patient Care: Greet and room patients, ensuring appropriate patient flow and updating patient medical charts with accurate and timely documentation.
- Manage Phone Triage: Handle phone calls and take appropriate action under the direction of the provider.
- Administer Treatments: Demonstrate ability and technical skills when administering treatments and procedures in accordance with physician's orders.
- Provide Patient Education: Educate patients on their medical conditions and provide personal care to ensure comfort and well-being.
- Process Prescriptions: Process refills for prescriptions following clinic protocol under the direction of providers.
- Collaborate with Team Members: Work effectively with fellow clinic employees, managers, and providers to ensure seamless patient care.
- Ensure Safety Protocols: Follow safety procedures in compliance with OSHA and state health department guidelines.
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Experience: 2+ years' experience as a Medical Assistant preferred.
- Certification: Certified Medical Assistant.
