Position Overview
Avalon Health Care Management Inc. is seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapy Assistant to join our esteemed team. This role is pivotal in delivering exceptional therapy services to individuals facing physical, mental, and emotional challenges.

Compensation
The hourly wage for this position ranges from $35.00 to $40.00, commensurate with experience and qualifications.

Key Responsibilities
As an Occupational Therapy Assistant, your duties will include:
  1. Collaborating with Occupational Therapists to assess patients' conditions.
  2. Designing and executing personalized treatment plans tailored to individual needs.
  3. Guiding patients through exercises and activities aimed at enhancing strength, mobility, and coordination.
  4. Instructing patients on the use of adaptive tools and assistive technologies for daily tasks.
  5. Tracking patient progress and modifying treatment strategies as necessary.
  6. Maintaining accurate documentation of patient advancements and liaising with healthcare professionals.
  7. Providing emotional support and motivation to patients and their families.

Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess:
  • An Associate's degree in an Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
  • State licensure as an Occupational Therapy Assistant.
  • Experience in a skilled nursing environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • The ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
  • Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking abilities.
  • A compassionate, patient-centered approach to care.
