Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Vascular Sonographer to join our team at USA Clinics Group. As a Vascular Sonographer, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our vascular services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ultrasound Examinations: Perform vascular ultrasound examinations to create Venous Flow Maps, recommending safe and effective treatment plans for patients.
  • Collaboration with Physicians: Assist physicians in explaining treatment plans to patients, ensuring their specific needs are addressed.
  • Procedure Room Management: Set up and clean procedure rooms, exam rooms, and ultrasound rooms before and after each patient, maintaining a clean and safe environment.
  • Additional Examinations: Perform additional ultrasound examinations as required by treatment plans, ensuring the effectiveness of treatment and patient safety.
  • Scheduling and Coordination: Work with office staff, administrative staff, and physicians to review ultrasound schedules, ensuring availability of ultrasound technicians and maintaining efficient patient flow.
  • Quality and Education: Develop and maintain quality of work and skills, adhering to company standards through continued education and interaction with other ultrasound technologists.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Maintain equipment and manage supply inventory to ensure continued and effective operations.
Requirements
  • Certificate of Completion: Hold a Certificate of Completion from an accredited Ultrasound program.
  • Certification: Be a Registered Vascular Technologist, Registered Vascular Specialist, or Registered Phlebology Sonographer (RVT / RVS / RpHS) or be able to earn certification within 90 days of hire.
  • Communication and Teamwork: Possess excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work well in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
