What Impact Will You Make in This Position?

The Senior Analyst within the American Express National Bank (AENB) Treasury team is integral to the Global Treasury organization. This position encompasses a variety of responsibilities aimed at supporting balance sheet stability, governance, and our recovery and resolution initiatives. The Senior Analyst will oversee the management of contingency funding and intercompany affiliate funding mechanisms, coordinate compliance and oversight procedures, and execute testing and controls.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with colleagues across the organization (Treasury, Controllership, General Counsel's Office, Global Risk and Compliance, Business Units, etc.) to fulfill recovery and resolution planning requirements, including data gathering, analysis, testing, and controls.
  • Ensure continuous access to contingent funding and intercompany funding, including asset pledging to the discount window.
  • Assist internal control group evaluations and regulatory assessments, including compiling submissions and data from stakeholders or process owners.
  • Investigate and communicate new and evolving regulatory mandates.
  • Coordinate the refresh of Treasury policies, frameworks, and procedural documentation while driving ongoing enhancements.
  • Support Management Information System (MIS) reporting and analytics, including risk limit monitoring and compliance with policies and procedures.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Self-driven, proactive individual with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Strong project management capabilities with the ability to meet deadlines while juggling multiple responsibilities.
  • Ability to navigate processes and drive improvements.
  • Excellent analytical, interpersonal, and verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
  • 2+ years of experience in Treasury, finance, regulatory, or resolution planning.

Salary Range: $55,000.00 to $105,000.00 annually + bonus + benefits
