Position Overview

About Us: Oxford Consulting Services, Inc. has been a leader in educational staffing since 1994, collaborating with schools and districts nationwide to connect them with qualified Special Education professionals. Our focus is on pediatric services for students in grades K-12, and we take pride in our long-standing reputation for excellence and reliability. By partnering with us, you will receive the necessary support to effectively assist your designated students.

Current Opening: We are currently looking for a dedicated Special Education Support Professional for a fully remote role. Instruction will be conducted through a Zoom-based virtual classroom. This position offers up to 35 hours per week with a competitive hourly compensation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide instructional assistance
  • Work individually with students as outlined by the Special Education teacher and specified in the student’s IEP
  • Engage in topics and activities as directed by the Special Education teacher
  • Offer in-class support as instructed by the SEED Administrator
  • Participate in curriculum development
  • Generate daily reports for students identified as Approaching Alarm/Alarm
  • Communicate with families of students in Alarm regarding contact and attendance logging
  • Follow up with families of students who have missed multiple live lessons
  • Contribute to supplemental programs
  • Compile weekly reports on student engagement and progress in iReady or other SISP
  • Reach out to families of students in Adapted/Alt Ed who are not meeting participation requirements
  • Assess iReady progress for students struggling with specific topics
  • Coordinate reteaching sessions for topics not mastered
  • Monitor student progress
  • Administer formative assessments to evaluate progress on IEP objectives
  • Provide progress updates and data to the Special Education teacher
  • Assist students in completing Benchmark assessments three times a year

Qualifications:

  • Prior experience as a High School Paraprofessional is essential
  • Bachelor's Degree is required
  • Must complete Live Scan/DOJ Fingerprint Scanning with Oxford Consulting
  • Experience in a virtual educational environment is preferred

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
