Job Description

At Schoolhouse 4 Math, we are seeking a passionate and dedicated individual to join our team as a Math Instructor II. As a Math Instructor II, you will play a vital role in creating a welcoming environment for our students and families, and will be responsible for providing effective and concise math instruction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach/tutor in-center, online, and/or via hybrid delivery using the Mathnasium Method, terminology, and teaching practices
  • Work collaboratively with team members to deliver individualized instruction in a group setting
  • Assess students' learning progress and engagement throughout instructional sessions
  • Become proficient with digital educational materials and processes
  • Support the maintenance of a safe and professional learning environment

Requirements:

  • Passion for math and working with students
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Eagerness to learn and be trained
  • Exceptional math competency through at least Algebra I
  • Ability to balance various ongoing tasks
  • High school diploma
  • Math proficiency through algebra

What We Offer:

  • Competitive hourly rate: $17.00 ~ $18.50 per hour
  • Part-time, 3 shifts per week (Mon- Thu 3 PM- 7 PM or Sun 12 PM - 4 PM)
