Veterinarian Leadership Role

**About the Role**
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Veterinarian to join our Community Medicine team at the ASPCA. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in providing expert veterinary care to underserved communities in New York, Miami, and Los Angeles.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality, preventive and basic care to patients in underserved areas
- Oversee all aspects of veterinary care during a clinic day, including physical examination, diagnostics, treatment recommendations, and delivery
- Work side by side with staff veterinarians as a PPC doctor or HQHVSN surgeon treating cats and dogs
- Diagnose and treat post-surgical complications of outpatient animals
- Triage and refer cases that do not fall within the Community Medicine parameters of care as appropriate
Requirements
- Current New York State Department of Education Veterinary License
- Minimum one year of experience in high-quality, high-volume spay/neuter
- Minimum three years veterinary experience in small animal medicine and surgery
- Previous people management experience strongly preferred
