As a WIC Nutritionist, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of the WIC program, ensuring compliance with regulations and providing nutrition education to participants. This role requires strong leadership and communication skills, as well as the ability to analyze data and implement quality improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise clerical staff and review operations to ensure compliance with WIC regulations
- Assist with nutrition education program planning and implementation
- Establish and maintain positive relationships with patients, visitors, and employees
- Contribute to performance and quality improvement activities
- Assist with monitoring WIC site operations and reviewing state computer reports
- Develop and conduct in-service training programs for nutrition education staff and other health professionals
- Two years of supervisory experience in the WIC program
- Registration eligible dietitian
- Bachelor's degree in Nutrition or Public Health
- Computer literacy
