We are seeking a highly detail-oriented and organized Public Area Attendant to join our team at Schulte Companies. As a key member of our facilities maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and maintenance of all hotel public areas.
Responsibilities:
- Clean and maintain all hotel public areas, including restrooms, hallways, stairwells, and other high-traffic areas to meet quality standards.
- Clean bathrooms, dust furniture and pictures, vacuum, sweep, and mop floors to ensure a clean and safe environment for guests.
- Empty carts of soiled linen and dispose of trash to maintain a clean and organized workspace.
- Remove linens and trash from dirty rooms to ensure a smooth and efficient housekeeping process.
- Maintain the lobby, elevators, stairways, hallways, and Front Desk area to ensure they are clean, neat, and free of all rubbish and debris.
- Remove spots, insects, and debris, polish fixtures, and clean ashtrays to maintain a high level of cleanliness and attention to detail.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous experience in facilities maintenance or a related field preferred.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain a clean and organized workspace.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time.
