Public Relations and Events Coordinator

Siddall Communications is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Public Relations and Events Coordinator to support our team in delivering exceptional PR and events services. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to work under tight deadlines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement PR strategies and campaigns to enhance the company's reputation and visibility.
  • Coordinate and execute events, conferences, and press conferences to showcase the company's expertise and build relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Monitor and analyze media coverage, tracking metrics and reporting on PR performance.
  • Build and maintain relationships with vendors, strategic partners, and media contacts to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.
  • Assist the Director in developing PR strategies and campaigns, ensuring alignment with company goals and objectives.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure consistent messaging and scheduling, and to prepare and distribute media kits or communications toolkits and resources.
  • Respond to media inquiries and requests, as directed, and maintain and update media, vendor, and strategic partner contact lists.
  • Track and analyze PR performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing strategies to enhance results.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices, ensuring the company remains at the forefront of PR and events expertise.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Communications, or related field.
  • 1-3 years of experience in public relations, events management, or related field.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and media.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, with the ability to work under tight deadlines and handle pressure.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy, with the ability to track and analyze PR performance.
  • Experience with media monitoring and reporting tools, and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong people skills and team player, with the ability to work independently and take initiative.
