Precipart is seeking a highly skilled Customer Accounts Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our customer-facing team, you will be responsible for coordinating processes from purchase order initiation to delivery, ensuring seamless communication with internal departments and customers.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee customer schedules and monitor commitment dates against customer requirements
- Receive customer PO's and perform commercial contract reviews, resolving discrepancies as needed
- Process customer purchase orders, inquiries, and issues related to orders
- Process purchase orders and manufacturing orders for outsourced products
- Oversee delivery execution and logistics of customer orders and purchase/manufacturing orders to meet customer demand
- Gather and communicate information pertaining to changes to existing orders
- Track order activity and communicate potential delivery problems
- Update internal systems and customer portals in accordance with changes
- Quickly and effectively resolve customer or production issues, providing timely communication to customers on status and resolution
- Perform monthly account review – customer forecast vs backlog and manufacturing/purchase orders
- Understand customer measurements of Precipart, ensuring alignment with measurements and performing at the highest standard
- Run customer-specific reports and share data with customers
- Provide pricing, inventory availability, and production schedule information to customers
- Review contractual inventory amounts required in stock per customer, adjusting discretionary amounts based on future projections, on-time delivery, and changes to delivery dates
- Minimum 2 years' experience working in a similar role (candidates with less experience can be considered for Coordinator level)
- Associates degree required or equivalent work experience
- Proficient in MS Excel, Word, Outlook
- Customer-focused, analytical, and excellent communication skills
- Able to meet aggressive deadlines, adapt to changing priorities, and possess excellent organizational and multitasking ability
- Assertiveness and confidence, with the ability to make decisions that impact customers
- Goal-driven, with the ability to work under pressure and possess good problem-solving skills
