POSITION: DAYCARE ESCORT
The Daycare Escort at Bienvivir plays a crucial role in accompanying participants to their medical appointments, ensuring their safety and providing assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) as needed.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Be available for both scheduled and unscheduled appointments as instructed.
- Offer personal care support during medical visits.
- Effectively communicate details regarding appointments.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation.
- Follow attendance and time-keeping protocols.
- Participate in meetings and training sessions as required.
- Ensure equipment and supplies are ready for Escort duties.
- Assist in emergencies and perform additional tasks as necessary.
QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS:
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
- Certification as a Nursing Assistant in Texas is preferred.
- Experience in caring for the elderly is essential.
- CPR certification and a Food Handler's Card are mandatory.
- Background in personal care services is beneficial.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish is preferred.
- A valid Texas Driver's License and reliable transportation are required.
- Must comply with ongoing training and immunization requirements.
