As a key member of our transport team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care during transport, collaborating with other professionals to ensure effective and efficient patient care delivery, and contributing to the provision of quality care through performance improvement techniques.

Responsibilities

  • Assess, treat, manage, control, diagnostic evaluate, and care for patients during transport under the direction of Director, Administrative Director, and Medical Director of the transport team.
  • Collaborate with other professionals to ensure effective and efficient patient care delivery and the achievement of desired patient outcomes.
  • Contribute to the provision of quality care through performance improvement techniques that demonstrate positive outcomes in patient care.
  • Assist management in the development of systems, processes, and programs to improve quality of patient care and increase nursing efficiency throughout the transport process.
  • Develop, coordinate, and monitor unit preceptor program in collaboration with transport team administration.

Requirements

  • Licensed as RN to practice in the state of Texas.
  • BCLS.
  • ACLS.
  • NRP Neonate Resuscitate.
  • Intermediate Fetal Monitoring Certification (for Maternal RN).
  • PALS (for PICU/NICU RN).
  • C-NPT Neo Ped Transport (for PICU/NICU RN).
  • TNCC Trauma Nursing Core Course (for PICU/NICU RN).
  • ENPC Emergency Nurse Pediatric Course (for PICU/NICU RN).
  • STABLE.

Preferred Qualifications

  • CCRN.
  • PNCCT.
  • TNATC.
  • CTRN.
  • CFRN.
  • Critical Care Transport Experience.
  • Three years' experience as a Registered Nurse in Neonatal, Pediatric, L&D, Adult, and/or Emergency Critical Care.
