Timmons Group is seeking a skilled Civil Project Engineer I/II to join our Stormwater Group in Virginia Beach, VA.
Key Responsibilities- Design project components using relevant software, modeling, and Civil 3D technology.
- Perform calculations using engineering formulas and skills, or utilize computers to solve problems.
- Prepare specifications, materials, and installation details through research and equipment catalogs.
- Complete design details and plan sets, and assist in cost estimates.
- Conduct field observations, inspections, and data collection as directed by senior engineering staff.
- Communicate with clients and internal design teams as needed.
- Bachelor's or master's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- Coursework or experience in civil engineering related to water is ideal.
- EIT certification is preferred.
- 0-4 years of experience in civil engineer design is preferred.
- Working knowledge of CADD and/or Civil 3D software, with Civil 3D preferred.
