ResponsibilitiesCBS is currently seeking a qualified Part-Time Lead Engineer with a minimum of ten years of relevant experience.
The ideal candidate must possess an active MD 1st or DC 3rd Class Stationary Engineer license. All shifts are available.
- Conduct routine inspections of systems and associated equipment on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.
- Perform scheduled preventative and general maintenance tasks.
- Ensure equipment is maintained to meet industry standards.
- Diagnose and resolve HVAC, plumbing, and electrical issues as needed.
- Assist and support subcontractors in the installation and repair of equipment.
- Collaborate with building management and client representatives to guarantee satisfaction.
- Prepare and submit reports on system status as directed.
- Install ductwork and mount equipment according to specifications.
- Manage the procurement of materials and supplies, maintaining inventory for efficient work completion.
- Document work performed accurately on tickets and work orders.
- Conduct predictive maintenance on assigned equipment to avert breakdowns.
- Ability to pass and maintain a background check.
- Possession of a DC 3rd or MD 1st Class Engineer License.
- OSHA 30 certification is required.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Lead Engineer in a comparable facility.
- 5-8 years of experience in operating, maintaining, and installing mechanical systems.
