Job Description:

The Benefits Consultant will work on-site at our client's main administration office in Miami, FL, serving as an integral part of the client benefits team. This role requires a high level of attention to detail, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Serve as a liaison between Home Office and the client, supporting in the administration and management of the Vision plan.
  • Handle walk-in traffic with benefit questions, handle benefit phone calls from employees regarding the vision plan, and travel to various locations to educate employees on benefits programs and wellness initiatives.
  • Work eligibility exception reports, reconciliation reports, and handle paperwork for COBRA applicants.
  • Other duties as requested by the client.
Requirements:

Must-Haves:

  • Experience with the administration of vision care plans.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Good-to-Haves:

  • Bilingual Spanish.
  • Reliable transportation.

As part of your contractor's compliance, OIG/GSA/OFAC screening is an additional requirement for this position. Results should be emailed to the client by the 5th of each month, and screenshots of completed training should be kept in a file and sent to the upload portal. Mandatory Training (3 for Compliance purposes and 2 for HiTrust/Security requirements) is required during the first 2 weeks of hire.
