Key Responsibilities:
Achieving Results:
You will be directly accountable for identifying and cultivating opportunities within commercial accounts in a designated territory. Leverage advanced sales techniques to guide prospects and clients through their purchasing decisions regarding Thomson Reuters products and services.
Sales Cycle Management:
Oversee the sales process from prospect identification to deal closure, coordinating with various internal teams to ensure the appropriate resources are in place. Implement the OneSource sales methodology effectively.
Relationship Management:
Maintain and nurture customer relationships post-sale for upselling opportunities. Build trusted connections with Directors, VPs, and C-level executives.
Communication:
Regularly engage with management and provide timely updates on all activities in our CRM and other relevant systems.
Closing Sales:
Consistently meet or exceed quarterly and annual sales targets.
Market Insights:
Supply valuable market and competitive intelligence to Thomson Reuters to inform internal business strategies.
Travel Requirements:
Expectation of travel is between 25% to 50% of the time.
Candidate Profile:
You are an ideal candidate for the Senior Corporate Tax Sales Specialist role if you possess:
- A strong passion for generating new business and establishing trusting relationships.
- A bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in sales.
- Over 5 years of experience selling ERP, SCM, CRM, PTP, or other significant enterprise back-office or mid-tier software solutions.
- Experience selling to large, complex commercial entities with global operations, specifically those generating $500M+ in revenue.
- In-depth knowledge of the enterprise software industry and its impact on the P&L.
- Proven ability to engage with C-suite executives and a track record of achieving substantial sales quotas.
- Strong customer-oriented approach with skills in negotiation, complex problem-solving, and conflict resolution.
- An entrepreneurial mindset, capable of thriving in ambiguous situations and adapting to changing circumstances.
- Experience in a results-driven, fast-paced, team-oriented, and collaborative environment.
- Exceptional communication and collaboration skills.
- Proficiency with tools such as SFDC, MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams, and Zoom.
- The ability to effectively partner with and leverage a supportive team of Sales Consultants, Lead Generation, Professional Services, Product Development, and Marketing.
