Job Title: Tax Senior Manager

At Jobot, we're seeking a highly skilled and motivated Tax Senior Manager to join our dynamic team. As a Tax Senior Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the tax function within our organization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Tax Compliance: Ensure accurate and timely preparation, review, and filing of all tax returns, including federal, state, local, and international taxes.
  • Tax Planning and Strategy: Collaborate with senior management and financial teams to develop effective tax planning strategies that optimize the company's tax position while aligning with overall business goals.
  • Tax Research and Analysis: Conduct comprehensive tax research to interpret complex tax laws and rulings, providing insights and recommendations to address specific tax issues or opportunities.
  • Financial Reporting: Work closely with the finance team to ensure accurate and proper tax accounting, provisions, and reporting for financial statements, adhering to the relevant accounting standards.
  • Risk Management: Assess potential tax risks and exposures, developing and implementing strategies to mitigate risks and maintain compliance with applicable tax regulations.
  • Audits and Inquiries: Represent the company during tax audits and inquiries, collaborating with external auditors, tax authorities, and legal advisors to provide required information and resolve any tax-related matters.
  • Team Leadership: Manage and mentor a team of tax professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performing work environment.
Qualifications and Skills:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; a Master's degree in Taxation is preferred.
  • Professional Certifications: CPA designation or relevant tax certifications.
  • Experience: Proven experience (typically 5+ years) in tax compliance, planning, and strategy, preferably in a corporate setting or public accounting firm.
  • Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of federal, state, local, and international tax laws and regulations.
  • Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail.
  • Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to interact effectively with stakeholders, clients, and team members.
