Manufacturing Assembly Technician

At GCM, we are seeking a skilled Manufacturing Assembly Technician to join our team. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for assembling products using a variety of hand and power tools, fixtures, and work instructions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assemble products according to detailed instructions and procedures
  • Comply with quality and safety standards to ensure high-quality products
  • Complete administrative tasks related to business and regulatory requirements
  • Report any quality or process issues to the Lead or Production Supervisor
  • Provide training to coworkers as needed
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area
  • Work collaboratively with the team to achieve production goals
Requirements:
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Must be at least 18 years of age and authorized to work in the US
  • Ability to read and comprehend procedures and prints written in English
  • Must be able to operate a forklift safely if certified to do so
  • Must demonstrate proficiency in the set-up and operation of all necessary equipment
  • Good written and oral communication skills
  • Experience in medical device manufacturing
  • Familiarity with ERP systems such as Epicor
Desired Qualifications:
  • Two years of mechanical assembly experience
  • Forklift certification
