About the Role:

This role requires a bachelor's degree in Software, Electrical, or Automation Engineering, as well as previous experience working in the Manufacturing Industry. The ideal candidate will have proficiency in Siemens PLC and HMI programming, knowledge of variable frequency drives and control systems for material handling devices, familiarity with NEC electrical code and OSHA safety requirements, and excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Customize crane controls using existing software modules
  • Support factory acceptance, commissioning, and lifecycle of material handling equipment
  • Modify PLC software to meet customer needs
  • Monitor and develop replacements for obsolete automation equipment
  • Resolve control/software issues by collaborating with engineers and service technicians
  • Travel to customer sites for troubleshooting as needed
