Position Summary
As a Senior Property Tax Analysis Specialist, you will be responsible for conducting thorough reviews of property valuations to uncover potential property tax savings. Your expertise will guide the team in navigating appeal processes effectively.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze property valuations using various methodologies, including Income, Sales, and Cost approaches, to identify opportunities for tax savings.
  • Lead and mentor staff through the appeal processes, ensuring best practices are followed.
  • Conduct comprehensive analyses for clients, including tax projections and annual budgets, while maintaining clear communication regarding appeal statuses and client requirements.
  • Negotiate and present appeals to various assessing authorities.
  • Promote the firm's services to prospective clients through effective communication and presentations.
  • Review and authorize invoices related to property tax services.

Qualifications

  • Daily presence in the Chicago office is required.
  • Possession of an MAI Appraiser designation is essential.
  • A Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related business field is required.
  • Exceptional presentation and communication skills are necessary.
  • A minimum cumulative undergraduate GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale is required.
