Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Pulmonary Therapist to join our team at AtlantiCare. As a key member of the healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality respiratory care services to patients.
About the Role
The ideal candidate will have experience working in critical care settings and possess excellent communication and problem-solving skills. You will work closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement treatment plans that meet the unique needs of each patient.
Responsibilities
- Provide respiratory care services to patients, including ventilation support, oxygen therapy, and aerosol treatments.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with physicians and other healthcare professionals.
- Conduct thorough assessments of patients' respiratory status and make recommendations for changes in treatment plans as needed.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and communicate effectively with healthcare teams.
Requirements
To be considered for this role, you must have:
- A Bachelor's degree in Respiratory Therapy or a related field.
- Licensure as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or equivalent.
- At least 3 years of experience working in critical care settings, preferably in a hospital environment.
- Current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS).
Salary
This is a full-time position offering a competitive salary of $120,000 - $150,000 per year, depending on experience. Our comprehensive benefits package includes health insurance, retirement savings plan, paid time off, and continuing education opportunities.
