Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Equipment Repair and Maintenance
    • Perform routine preventive maintenance to ensure that machines continue to run smoothly, building systems operate efficiently.
    • Inspect drives, motors, and belts, check fluid levels, replace filters, and perform other maintenance actions, following checklists.
    • Use tools ranging from common hand and power tools, such as hammers, hoists, saws, drills, and wrenches, to precision measuring instruments and electrical and electronic testing devices.
  • Electrical and Mechanical Systems
    • Diagnose mechanical problems and determine how to correct those, checking blueprints, repair manuals, and parts catalogs as necessary.
    • Inspect, operate, and test machinery and equipment in order to diagnose machine malfunctions.
    • Record maintenance and repair work performed and the costs of the work.
  • Manufacturing Setting
    • Work onsite in a manufacturing setting, performing tasks such as welding, trouble shooting CNC Machines, programming and troubleshooting Robotics, PLC programming, repairing electrical or mechanical equipment, installing, aligning, and leveling new equipment.
    • Must be willing to work OT as needed and be willing to work 2nd or 3rd shifts.
Requirements
  • 3+ years of experience working with electrical and mechanical systems, including Hydraulics, pneumatics, and PLC's.
  • Ability to understand electrical ladder circuits as well as motor controls circuits.
  • Computer skills, including Microsoft office and Auto Cad.
