Job Summary

Opal Foods is seeking a skilled Maintenance Supervisor to join our team at our Litchfield, MN farm. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will assist the Production Manager with daily supervision of the barns and maintenance teams, while performing regular maintenance duties.

The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of experience in maintenance in a farm or agriculture setting, with a strong background in electrical work. You will be responsible for planning and supervising periodic equipment and system maintenance, as well as performing high-level maintenance on critical systems such as the egg conveyor system, ventilation system, and housing system.

As a Maintenance Supervisor, you will also be responsible for monitoring and maintaining water systems, electrical systems, and standby power units. You will provide training and coaching to maintenance technicians and animal caretakers, and ensure that all maintenance activities are performed consistently and effectively.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience in maintenance in a farm or agriculture setting
  • Electrical experience
  • Ability to work weekends as scheduled
  • Ability to answer alarms on rotation within 15 minutes
