The Clinical Nurse B-MC is a key member of the Flexible Integrated Team at Loma Linda University Medical Center. The nurse will utilize discretion and independent judgment to prioritize, coordinate, and provide direct and indirect age-specific and developmentally appropriate quality patient-centered care. The nurse will also perform the nursing process with minimal supervision and in accordance with established Professional Practice Model to achieve proficient individualized physical, psychosocial, and spiritual wellness and provide compassionate bereavement support as appropriate.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct and indirect patient care in a fast-paced environment
  • Utilize discretion and independent judgment to prioritize and coordinate care
  • Perform the nursing process with minimal supervision
  • Exhibit flexibility and willingness to accept assignments in various patient care departments
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to achieve quality patient care

Requirements:
  • Active California Registered Nurse (RN) license
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
  • Associate Degree or Diploma Degree in Nursing
  • Minimum of one year of experience

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Basic Arrhythmia Recognition and Treatment course or equivalent
  • Knowledge of healthcare regulations and accreditation

Working Conditions:
  • May be required to participate in on-call rotation
  • Exhibits professional behavior at all times
