Job Summary

Herb Chambers Honda of Westborough is seeking a highly skilled CVR Clerk to join our team. As a CVR Clerk, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth registration of new and used vehicles in the state where they will be titled.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process all new and used vehicles for registration in the state where they will be titled, ensuring accuracy and completeness of all documentation.
  • Prepare tax and title documents, including contracts and drafts, for submission to the proper lending institution.
  • Submit all legal transfer work to the Department of Motor Vehicles, verifying that funds have been collected and the correct lien holder paid off before processing title applications.
  • Verify the accuracy of all information in the application, ensuring that all necessary details are complete and up-to-date.
  • Bill out all dealer trades and prepare Certificates of Origin, maintaining a system to verify out-of-state titles.
  • Compile and maintain a complete list of all outstanding title work, reporting to management on the status of any missing or problem titles and providing a current list of outstanding titles to the comptroller on a weekly basis.
Requirements
  • Must have automotive experience, preferably in a dealership setting.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with others.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy, with a focus on math and numbers.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of productivity and efficiency.
