Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled IT Statewide Applications Senior Developer to join our team at the State of Louisiana. As a key member of our IT team, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining complex information technology applications, providing technical expertise, and collaborating with various stakeholders to deliver innovative solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain complex information technology applications using the OTS technology stack.
  • Provide technical expertise and consulting services to various management levels and customer agencies.
  • Design, code, compile, test, debug, modify, and document new and existing applications.
  • Provide development, maintenance, and troubleshooting of moderately complex computer applications systems.
  • Respond to computer system emergencies and resolve problems independently or in consultation with other IT staff and/or end user personnel.
Requirements
  • A baccalaureate degree plus three years of experience in information technology.
  • An associate's degree in information technology will substitute for the baccalaureate degree.
  • Two years of experience or training in information technology will substitute for the baccalaureate degree.
