We are in search of a Team Lead Admin to become a vital part of our Revenue Cycle Team. In this role, you will oversee the daily operations related to the front office software functionalities across Meridian Health Services facilities. This full-time position requires some travel.
The role necessitates a flexible schedule, with up to 50% travel to provide training for staff at various locations as required.
Key Responsibilities of the Team Lead Admin:
- Effective communication (both verbal and written) and consultation with center personnel.
- Responsible for training all new Support Staff members.
- Updating the Support Staff Manual and presentations as necessary, ensuring all required changes are communicated to Support Staff across all centers.
- Conducting on-site visits to ensure adherence to Support Staff procedures and assisting with any inquiries or concerns.
- Maintaining the accuracy of intake packets and ensuring staff utilize the correct versions.
- Training Support Staff on scheduling and rescheduling appointments for clinical personnel and psychiatrists, as well as managing messages and routing them appropriately.
- Instructing Support Staff on patient registration processes.
- Maintaining a comprehensive understanding of Meridian's administrative and clerical protocols.
- Managing demographic MIS changes.
- Keeping abreast of Meridian's medical records policies and procedures.
- Understanding release of information procedures in accordance with established policies.
- Tracking and monitoring departmental specific requirements.
- Generating and analyzing reports such as liabilities and other assigned reports.
- Fostering a close working relationship with Supervisors, Managers, and team members within the department.
- Performing additional responsibilities as assigned.
Desired Qualifications for Team Lead Admin Candidates:
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- A valid driver's license, a driving record that meets Meridian's driving policy, reliable transportation, and proof of auto insurance are required.
