Overview
The Client Support Specialist (CSS) is dedicated to delivering exceptional patient-centered services, ensuring that the unique needs and preferences of each patient are met consistently, regardless of their background. This role is crucial as it serves as the initial point of contact for patients, whether in person or via phone, and also represents the final interaction patients will have with our organization. The CSS will undertake a variety of clerical tasks in alignment with departmental protocols, applying their understanding of company policies to maintain and organize patient records, prepare necessary documentation, verify details, and address routine administrative challenges.
Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Upholding clinical and clerical standards in accordance with the Company Policy and Procedure Manual.
- Adhering to established scripts during patient interactions.
- Handling incoming calls with professionalism, prioritizing inquiries, and directing them to the appropriate staff efficiently.
- Welcoming patients warmly, collecting necessary identification and insurance information, and guiding them through the patient information form to capture essential details.
- Inputting patient admission data into the system and scheduling appointments.
- Processing payments and executing accounting tasks as per departmental guidelines.
- Ensuring daily ledger accuracy and preparing bank deposits.
- Completing additional tasks as assigned by management.
- Engaging in quality improvement initiatives, participating in training sessions, attending departmental meetings, and demonstrating ongoing competency in line with company standards.
- Performing other related duties as required.

Qualifications
Education and Experience
High School Diploma or Equivalent.
Language Proficiency
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical documents or regulations. Capable of effectively presenting information and responding to inquiries from various stakeholders.
Problem-Solving Skills
Adept at resolving practical issues and managing diverse variables in situations with limited standardization. Ability to interpret various forms of instructions provided in written, oral, or diagrammatic formats.
Technical Skills
Proficiency in EMR systems, DocuTap, Excel, and MS Word is essential for success in this role.
