Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Mortgage Loan Originator to join our team at American Neighborhood Mortgage Acceptance Company LLC. As a Mortgage Loan Originator, you will be responsible for originating and closing mortgage loans for our clients. This is a full-time position that requires a strong understanding of mortgage products and a proven track record of success in sales.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Sales and Origination: Generate new business by building and maintaining relationships with real estate professionals, financial advisors, and other relevant partners.
  • Loan Application and Processing: Take information from borrowers and fill out loan applications, analyze creditworthiness, and pre-qualify borrowers for mortgage loans.
  • Counseling and Education: Counsel borrowers on the home buying and financing process, advising them on different types of loan products and explaining closing costs and monthly payments.
  • Documentation and Compliance: Collect financial information and other related documents, provide disclosures to borrowers, and maintain regular contact with borrowers and lenders throughout the application process.
Requirements:
  • Licensure and Certification: Must have the appropriate state license or certificate to practice as a Mortgage Loan Originator.
  • Industry Knowledge: Must have a thorough knowledge of mortgage insurance companies, credit underwriting requirements, and property eligibility requirements for various government agencies and private investors.
  • Communication and Analytical Skills: Must have excellent communication skills and the ability to analyze financial information.
  • Sales and Business Development: Must be a sales-oriented self-starter with a proven track record of success in sales and business development.
Work Environment:

This is a full-time position that requires frequent travel (80% of the time) to meet with clients and partners. The ideal candidate will be highly motivated, organized, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
